• Sight words last week: could, people, my, than, first, water
• Sight words this week: been, call, who, am, it's, now
• Writing: We are are learning how to use sequencing in our writing. Sequencing will help us learn how to write a story with a beginning, middle, and end. 
  
  
  
  
  

Spanish

• This week we started our family unit "La Familia". We learned vocabulary words for our family members in Spanish. We used our knowledge to write sentences about our family. 
  
  
  
  
  

Math 

• We are in our 3d shapes unit. We are learning the names of 3d shapes in Spanish and their attributes. At home, ask your child what 3d shapes do they see in the kitchen, at the grocery store, at the park, etc. 
• We continue to create the shapes we see in real life with paper models. Thank you to all the volunteers who have been helping us glue those together!
  
  
  
  
  
  
  

Social Studies 

• We continue in our traditions unit. We are completing our "My Family Traditions" poster using the answers from the questionnaire Señorita sent home back in February. 

SCHOOL UPDATES: 

Friday, March 24 is the last day of classes before Spring Break.  Classes will resume on Monday, April 3.  After Spring Break, there is no school on Friday, April 7 and Monday, April 10.
