Hola a todos,

Halloween was a lot of fun! It was awesome to have everyone come dressed up in a costume. We went around the school for a Halloween Parade and saw every class' costume.

• We are learning Halloween vocabulary in Spanish. This week we will be learning about Día de los muertos (day of the dead) and other celebrations around the world.

English Language Arts and Literature 

• We are spending the week reviewing our letter names and sounds. Practice the alphabet at home with your child. 
• Can you hear the ___ sound in your name? Where in your name do you hear the sound? Beginning, middle, or end?  

This week, we are reviewing the sight words we have learned so far: 

1. for, and, of, a, to, it
2. is, you, that, it, he, was
3. for, on, are, as, with, his
4. they, I, at, be, this, have
5. or, one, had, by, word, but

Math

• We are practicing skip counting by 2's from 1-20, by 5's from 1-50, and by 10's from 1-100.
