Hola a todos,

It has been a great week. We have been learning the stories of Indigenous people all week. We have talked about residential schools, orange shirt day and watched videos of elders telling stories about the Seven Sacred Laws. 

Spanish: We are reviewing our vocales A, E, I, O, U. (Vowels in Spanish A, E, I, O, U) 
We learned how to say the Seven Sacred Laws in Spanish. 
We are also practicing how to say our name, how are you, and more in Spanish.

ELAL: Our sounds of the week are: K, G, and QU. 
Our sight words of the week are: The, and, of, a, to, in.
We have been reading books about Indigenous culture and Orange shirt day. We have read Phyllis Orange Shirt, The Name Jar, and Shi-shi-etko. 

Math: We represented the number of the day (14) in different ways.
We played a math game with partners!
